Summer Concerts Continue this August in Alexandria

The City of Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is sponsoring the following concerts during the month of August 2017.

Canal Center Plaza Concerts, Wednesdays at Noon (44 Canal Center Plaza)

  • August 2: The Winstons – Memories of Motown
    These concerts are offered in partnership with American Real Estate Partners.

Music at Twilight Concerts, Thursdays at 7 p.m. 
Fort Ward Park, 4301 West Braddock Rd.

  • August 10: Mike Surrat & the Continentals (International Polka Show)

Market Square Concerts
301 King St.

  • August 3 at 7 p.m.: 257th Army Band “The Band of the Nation’s Capital”  (Concert Band)
  • August 11 at 7:30 p.m.: Alexandria Harmonizers (Men’s Barbershop)

John Carlyle Square Park Sunset Concerts, Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
300 John Carlyle St.

  • August 8: 257th Army Band Capital Sound (Pop/Dance Band)
