Police Issue Pool Safety Message for Alexandria Pools

Alexandria Police are still investigating this incident that occurred at a pool in the West End of Alexandria, Virginia.

Deputy Chief Fard released the following pool safety message on Nextdoor today.

On Saturday, September 3, 2016, a sexual assault was reported to the Alexandria Police Department. This crime took place in the 200 block of S. Pickett Street and it remains under investigation. The suspect in the case is described as a white male, 35-40 years of age, 5’10” to 6’2″ tall with fair complexion and thin built. The attached flyer is being distributed to the community to assist lifeguards and others with safety tips.
