This 19-year-old maid in Fairfax City got convicted – then something amazing happened. The trial seemed utterly ordinary. A 19-year-old maid swiped a woman’s three rings worth at least $5,000 from a house she was cleaning in Fairfax City, Va., but later returned them after the police questioned her. She was charged with felony grand larceny. (True Crime)

D.C. goes Gaga for Wawa in the District Since Wawa opened its first store in Delaware County, Pennsylvania in 1964, it has grown to over 800 stores across six states with a legion of crazed fans devoted to its made-to-order hoagies and convenience store coffee. But only now is it finally arriving in the District. (Washingtonian)
