WJLA’s Top Story of 2017 – Inauguration Violence Protests on inauguration day turned violent and destructive, as some protesters smashed windows and lit things on fire. D.C. Police arrested more than 200 people. But defense attorneys argue most of those arrested weren’t violent, and the first six to go on trial were acquitted in December. (WJLA)
