New Five Guys, &Pizza, and CAVA Grill Coming SOON to Potomac Yard

I may be a little late on this as I didn’t notice this until I was at Potomac Yard Center (PYC) the other night shopping at Best Buy.

According to sources, Don Pablo’s, located at 3525 Jefferson Davis Highway in Alexandria, Virginia, has been shut down for some time since last November 2016.

Don Pablo’s is a tex-mex restaurant chain that offers menu items like enchiladas, tacos, fajitas and margaritas. Don Pablo’s filed for bankruptcy protection and closed several locations around the country, back in late 2016 which is right around when the Alexandria location closed.

I reached out to JBG and here’s what’s coming in 2018 in place of the now-closed Don Pablo’s.

The space will be split into three fast-casual restaurants with Five Guys on the side closest to Target, &Pizza in the middle, and a new CAVA Grill on the north side of the building.

Construction is expected to start in the spring with a 2nd/3rd quarter 2018 opening planned according to sources.

haha, yeah, it closed in 2016. Glad to hear it’s finally going to have occupants again! We need more food options in Potomac Yards.
