Multiple Power Outages Reported in Alexandria Friday

UPDATE (9:33 AM): All power restored in Alexandria.

UPDATE (8:49 AM): Dominion informs me that the large outage is resolved with several minor incidents around the City. Number of customers out now down to 20 in the city limits.

UPDATE (8:44 AM): Dominion tells me crew is assessing the damage causing minor power outage at Mt. Vernon Ave & E. Nelson Street. Also, crew on way to minor outage on North Quaker Lane near Duke Street. Still waiting for feedback on large outage…

UPDATE (8:33 AM): Dominion now reports number of customers out is 881. The West End outage has been resolved. And the Rosemont, Del Ray, Arlandria outage is down to 865.

More than 1100 customers currently are without power today (Friday, January 5, 2018) in  Alexandria, Virginia, according to Dominion Energy. There is a small power outage on Kenmore Avenue in the West End, a small one on North Quaker Lane in the Quaker Hill area, and a large one affecting folks in Rosemont, Del Ray, and Arlandria.

Dominion has reported a timetable of between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for restoration for the incidents.
