Wesley Housing Needs Volunteers in Alexandria

Wesley Housing is seeking volunteers to help pick up/drop off bread donations for local families in need in Alexandria, Virginia through the Panera Day-End Dough-Nation Program.

This is a great opportunity for “night owls” interested in giving back to the local community. Here’s how it works: you pick up donations at the  Panera Bread, located at 5578 Vincent Gate Terrace in the Alexandria, Virginia area and drop it off at the Lincolnia Community Resource Center in Alexandria. Commitment is weekly, Monday evenings at 9:45pm for 1 hour. Minimum one Monday per month. 1-2 volunteers per shift.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years-old and have use of personal vehicle with capacity to transport 3-5 bins of baked goods (bin dimensions: 20″x11″x16″).

For more information or to register as a volunteer, please contact Angela Jackson.
