Mild tonight and Monday before showers and cooler weather move in We’ve been socked in with clouds much of the day, but highs still managed to reach the upper 50s to low 60s. The mild air sticks around tonight and, nicely enough, into tomorrow as well. Consider taking a trip outside on your lunch break tomorrow with temperatures poised to rise into the 60s. (CWG)

Divides deepen on day 2 of the federal government shutdown The government shutdown went into a second day Sunday with recriminations deepening between the parties and with no sign of progress towards ending the impasse. (CNN)
