Central Alexandria Traffic Study Task Force Meeting Tonight

On Wednesday, January 24, the Central Alexandria Traffic Study Task Force will meet at 7 p.m., at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Central Alexandria Traffic Study Task Force was formed in 2016 to address significant concerns from the community about traffic diversion through the neighborhoods of Seminary Hill, Seminary Ridge, Clover College Park and Taylor Run. City staff is conducting a comprehensive study of the area to look at traffic patterns and examine which neighborhood streets are being used to avoid congestion on main arteries.

The focus of the January 24 meeting will be wrapping up a discussion of the data collection presentation. The group will review comments received and discuss prioritization factors.

More information about the task force and the project can be found online.
