Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Alexandria Until 9:00 PM Tonight

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the City of Alexandria, Virginia and the surrounding area until 9:00 p.m. this evening (Monday, May 14). 

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the City of Alexandria, Virginia and the surrounding area until 9:00 p.m. this evening (Monday, May 14). The National Weather Service says the potential exists for hail and damaging winds from the incoming storm(s).

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are conducive to the development of severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
