Wind Chill Advisory Tonight in Alexandria

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Alexandria, Virginia and the surrounding area starting TONIGHT (January 20, 2018) at 10:00 PM and running through 11:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2018.

Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills from negative 5 to negative 15 degrees expected. Because of high winds, NWS warns frostbite on exposed skin could occur within 30 minutes.

A Wind Chill Advisory is issued when wind chills are expected to drop the temperature below zero degrees and an active frostbite condition exists.
