Classes at Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia have been cancelled for Tuesday due to a mechanical heating issue.

Classes at Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia have been cancelled for Tuesday due to a mechanical heating issue. Additionally, all activities at Cora Kelly or on school grounds are canceled.

Parents tell us they received word of the cancellation via an automated phone call from the school district office. Officials also posted the item on social media.

According to information from Alexandria City Public Schools, all other school buildings will open on time as scheduled.

All activities at Cora Kelly or on school grounds are canceled. Essential personnel should report for duty. All 12-month employees should report to work and wait for further instructions from the principal.
