Residents that receive City refuse collection services are eligible to participate in the annual Spring Clean Up on an assigned Saturday in Spring every year. The City will be picking up bulky items from curbs on the dates shown (see above). If your street is a boundary line, consider the middle of the road the divider. Your collection area will be designated by the date of the area closest to your side of the street.

This week, the Rosemont area of Alexandria, Virginia is on tap for Spring Cleanup Day.

Residents are encouraged to clear out household clutter and place unwanted bulky trash and metal items at the curb on your neighborhood collection date. The City is divided into four collection zones and each zone is assigned a specific Saturday. Metals should be separated from other collection items, as they will be picked up during separate collection.
