The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the D.C. Metro area including Alexandria, Virginia TONIGHT (Saturday, May 4, 2019) from 8:00 p.m. through 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

NWS says widespread showers will develop this evening along with possible thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall is expected.
