Fire Hydrant Repairs in Taylor Run TODAY

The City of Alexandria is making emergency repairs on a Fire Hydrant TODAY (Tuesday May 14th) in the Taylor Run neighborhood near T.C. Williams HS.

The City of Alexandria is making emergency repairs on a Fire Hydrant TODAY (Tuesday May 14th) in Alexandria, Virginia.

As a result, customers along N. Quaker Lane in the Taylor Run neighborhood near T.C. Williams High School will experience, NO WATER, LOW PRESSURE, DISCOLORED WATER; on the following streets: North Quaker Lane, Bishop Lane, Vicar Lane, Woods Avenue and Woods Place.

Repairs are expected to take 11 hours before water service is back to normal.

When service is restored, customers may experience cloudy and or discolored water. If your water is discolored, wait until it runs clear before using. This should typically take only a few minutes. Virginia American Water apologizes for any inconvenience, and thanks you for your patience while repairs are being made.
