2019 National Memorial Day Parade (LIVE) #NMDParade
The nation’s largest Memorial Day event, the 2019 National Memorial Day parade in Washington, D.C., is set for 2:00 PM TODAY (Monday, May 27). The parade is held annually along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C., starting at the corner of Constitution Avenue and 7th Streets NW and ending at 17th Street.

The parade, in its 15th year, is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of spectators along the National Mall to watch the event and to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country. As many as 4,000 people – including 2,000 veterans –will be taking part in the parade.
The event was launched in 2005 by the American Veterans Center and the World War II Veterans Committee. The parade is designed to be a moving timeline of American military history, honoring those who have served and sacrificed from the American Revolution to the present day. Special events this year will be a tribute to the World War II generation to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War II; honoring the fallen of Sept. 11, 2001; and remembering the Gulf War.
Special guest celebrities include actor Joe Mantegna; Food Network’s Robert Irvine; Miss USA Chelsie Kryst; and Miss Teen USA Kaleigh Garris. The parade will feature musical performances by Justin Moore; Quaid & James; Maelyn Jarmon, winner of The Voice; and the USO Show Troupe.
