Cuisine Solutions, the world’s leading manufacturer of sous vide, serves 2,400 meals to Virginia Hospital Center
On Thursday, May 21, the Sterling, Virginia-based Cuisine Solutions donated & served 2,400 lunch meals to frontline healthcare workers at Virginia Hospital Center (VHC) to show appreciation for the hard work and sacrifices they are making to serve the community during COVID-19. The sous vide meals served are part of Cuisine Solutions’ new line of ovenable and microwaveable meals, developed in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The grab-and-go menu for the hospital outreach includes choices such as Baked Eggs, whole egg with Gruyère cheese, turkey sausage, roasted peppers and onions, parsley and cheddar or egg whites with mozzarella, tomato, spinach, everything seasoning and basil; Southwest Turkey Sandwich with sundried tomato, Swiss cheese; Sliced Beed Panini with fire roasted pepper aioli, Gruyère cheese; Vegetarian Sandwich with Monterey Jack and red pepper egg bites, basil pesto, grilled eggplant; Montreal-Rubbed Chicken Breast with organic five grains, sundried tomato; Mediterranean Lamb, braised lamb, quinoa, cilantro, pickled onion; Vegetarian Puloa, saffron brown rice, garam masala, spiced paneer, vegetable medley.

The meals are designed to enable consumers to reheat and serve high-quality products safely, with minimal human contact. This is a collaborative effort organized by Cuisine Solutions and World Central Kitchen.
