<a href="http://www.thealric.com/" target="_blank">The Alric</a>, a sponsor of this blog,<span style="color: #383634;"> is the first phase of <a href="http://www.mrprealty.com/mrp-realty-jbg-to-partner-for-potomac-yard-project/" target="_blank">The Exchange at Potomac Yard</a>, a 14-acre development within the existing, 300-acre Potomac Yard community. The Alric will include 323 residences, a mix of one- and two-bedrooms, in two five-story buildings. The complex will also include a roof terrace and lounge, courtyards, private ground-level patios, a pool and outdoor seating areas.</span>
The Notch 8 apartments, named for the railroad term meaning "full speed ahead," is moving full speed ahead and making progress in Potomac Yard. Notch 8 will be a 253-Unit Apartment Building with a 70,000 SF Grocery Store (Giant Food) on the ground floor.

Residents of the Frasier and Potomac Yard will benefit with the addition of a Metro station in a couple of years. The area also has Potomac Yard Center, which includes retailers such as Target, Shoppers food Warehouse and the 16-screen Regal Cinemas.</span>
