Metro bus riders can now receive text alerts about route changes, detours, construction activity and schedule changes with a new alert system. Customers can receive these alerts on their cell phones, pagers or desk-top e-mails. Bus delay information be sent Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
