7-Eleven Store @ John Carlyle Square

I have spoken to quite a few residents about this and I want to say right off the bat, I am not about to pick sides. As you can see from the thumbnail above and the photo below, 7-Eleven has decided to apply to open a 24 hour store in our neighborhood at 504 John Carlyle Street. I am told by City staff that this project is moving from an 'Administrative' SUP process to a 'Full' SUP process. Under the 'Administrative' process, it would have been up to City staff to go ahead and approve this development. Under the 'Full' SUP process, this development must now go before the Planning Commission on September 1 and if it passes, a City Council Public Hearing on September 12. So set your calendars now.
