Metrorail

As part of the investigation into the recent Blue Line derailment near Arlington Cemetery, WMATA will operate Metrorail at reduced service Monday, October 18, 2021.

There is no scheduled Metrorail track work affecting the Blue and/or Yellow Line this weekend in Alexandria, Virginia (Saturday & Sunday, January 4 & 5).

On Columbus Day, Monday, October 14, 2019, Metro will operate service on the following schedules for Metrorail, Metrobus, and MetroAccess in the DMV.

This weekend (May 18-19, 2019) most Metrorail lines will run on a regular weekend schedule with track work on the Orange, Blue and Yellow Line.
